Plasti-dipped the runner

Plastidip will stick to the rubber. You can't mask it though. I still haven't got all the dip off the rubber around my flares. Probably just gonna go over it when I do the Bed Armor. If I ever get to it.

One thing alot of guys forget after they "dip" there cars is when getting gas be very careful not to drip any on the plastidip.



My brother had his 350z dipped a nice metallic grey for a few days. Got gas forgot about the drip and ruined the whole thing. Alot of time wasted.



I am certain they sell little funnels you can use to get gas to prevent any drips.



Otherwise I think it looks badass. Let us know how it holds up over the next few months.

Good point, I'll make a drop down flap out of an inner tube to cover the Plastidip below the gas door. I hope to spray some of the panels this weekend.

I'll chime in. I platidipped my Limited bumpers, flares, cladding and badges.

Four months in and I'm *mostly* happy. Yes, the flare-to-body molding does not hold the dip well. My main issue is durability. Few days ago I very very slowly bumped open my barn door-style wooden fence gate. When I say slow, I mean sloooooooow. The dip on the front bumper tore on each corner where contact was made. Also, the dip ripped on the driver rocker panel when my shoe caught it while exiting. Maybe I'll get around to touching these areas up; maybe not. Bottom line - dip looks great if you do it right, and if you never plan on making contact with anything. If you trail-ride, don't even think about dipping, as any decent contact with a branch will tear the dip.

too labor intensive for me, I am lazy, but I like it

I have a buddy with h3 truck style and he took to a shop and they did his entire vehicle in line-x

every single spot. looks good and he likes. he spends a lot of time driving tight spots in woods so saved a lot of paint scratching
