Plasti-dipping question

I looked through all the threads but didn't have any luck. I know this is a stupid question, but how do I plasti dip the emblems on the back of my 4runner without taking them off the hatch?

mask it off and spray it like regular, albeit really thick spray paint. Let it dry, pick around emblems. donezo

Plenty of YouTube clips - it actually makes it easier to give yourself a few inches around the emblems when you're masking and use many coats. It then just peels off easily
