So everyone had heard of this plastidipping phenom. People are using it for wheels, emblems, grills, etc etc...so far in my experience it works. Do you guys think you could Plastidip your tail lights? It would have to be light enough coats I would think? Has anyone tried this??

Shouldn't do it since tailights still must remain reflective when other light hits it so you'd just be asking to be pulled over.

Like everyone above stated: DO NOT. Bad idea. Plasti-dip is awesome. Just not in this application. Use the nightshades spray or tint.

In my experience and thought.... its hard for me to do anything that I cannot undo. If I can figure a way to make it reversable I do. I don't like tinted tails but do like tinting the turn signs and/or reverse lights. I bought a roll of tint off ebay very cheap, and used that to tint my Lexus. Made a paper template and transferred it to the roll. Looks awesome and is reversable.
