Play in rear view mirror

My rear view mirror tilt won't stay up all the way, when I push it all the way up I can clearly see over a head rest in the back seat. When it falls back down it obstructs my view. Any way of getting this thing to stay it the full upward position???

Its likely worn out. I'd get a new mirror.

If it is just like my OLD Lexus GS, there should be a screw on the bottom of the mirror, tighten it and see if it works. I had a same issue and it worked for me on another vehicle.

I would take a look at this video. It will give you an idea where to tighten the screw as it's not always obvious where it is.
