Please help. Rear window won't go up!!

a couple days ago my keyless remote stopped working. today i was pushing all the buttons together just to see if it would work again, and i guess when i hit the rear window button, it made the rear window go down. now it will not go back up. i put a new battery in the remote and that did nothing. the only thing the remote will do is if i hold down the rear window button for a couple seconds it will beep. thats it. anybody had this problem, or know whats going on??

i tried jiggling the rear windshield wiper. i tried unlocking the back door with my key. and when i push the rear window button on the dashboard, it does nothing. i also tried re-programing my keyless remote. couldn't get that to work

checked all the fuses. (under the hood, and below the steering wheel.) they all seem fine. when i hit the rear defrost button the light does not turn on. don't know if that is because the window is down though

Check the window lock button on your drivers door panel. Make sure it is not pushed down.

pull the rear panel remove the 10mm bolt from behing the strap it all unclips from there you may have to jump out the motor just unplug it and feed ground/+12 reverse polarity and if the motor is good it should move

Instead of unlocking the rear door with the key turn the key in the opposite direction and hold it for a second or two.

Got to be the window lock or a fuse then or a relay??? maybe??

cuz if you can put the window up with the key, its not the regulator, the message isnt making it from the front of the car to the back...

Now that the window is up you need to reset the auto function on the window. To do this roll the window all the way down with the dash switch then roll it all the way up AND HOLD IT IN THE UP POSITION FOR ABOUT 3 SECONDS. Everything on the back window should now work.

I had a 15 minute period thinking that something was wrong with my rear window.....lol

made sure the window lock is not pushed down

I had that problem the other day & daughter pushed the window lock button! :bash:
