Please ident this piece, what is it, where did it come from??

Hello all, today as I was getting in my truck I saw this piece laying on the driver side floor mat... I looked around but couldn't locate where it could have come from... Can anyone identify it and tell me where it came from and where it goes?! Thanks!

i think thats the cover for the bolt where the seat bolts to the floor.

That was my guess right away as well.

Looks to me like the securing tab is already broken, so you'll have to get creative if you want it back on there. Same thing happened in my '97 a couple weeks ago. I left it off.

It should also actually seat(lock in)on the bracket to floor. You will hear it...
