Awhile back I saw someone had a SAS, locked, 01 or 02 Sport Edition but I can't find that thread anymore. I did a search and not very many results came up. This is my favorite model year of all the 4Runners and I'd like to see more pics. Please post up pics if you have any. I appreciate it!

Those double swing shackles look sketchy. I wish someone would actually wheel that 4runner.

I used to run double shackles on my mini truck, and despite all the horror stories out there, I loved them. It was a different setup than this truck though. two shackles moving in the same plane, not a sideways-swinging shackle.

Yeah the sideways swing just looks like it would act weird... but they said "tried and true"... I'd love to drive a truck with that setup just to see for myself.
Naw not lowered.. Maybe picture taken from weird angle.. Things might be a tad tired in spring world. Sits the same height as my stock 97 limited. I would like to lift it though..... ( just a little) got to get some better sneakers not sure the two ply will make much past the mall. I've only had it about two weeks and will mod as time and money permits.
Here is another shot from this week.... Push and be damned fishing camp in New Brunswick Canada. This is leased land on prime salmon fishing water in the middle of nowhere. About an hour and a half on logging roads to arrive. Not another camp for 45 mins. Had a great tour with my buddy and his taco TRD. 2003 I think.
Going to cape Breton to run the Cabot trail this weekend.

Remember for every mile of road there are two miles of ditch... Play hard and drive a Toyota.
