Please post side view photos of your Front Stabilizer Control Cylinder of KDSS

I have a 2014 Trail Edition and went to the dealer today for a leak in my rear KDSS cylinder which they confirmed. The technician also said that my front cylinder was bent, but it isn’t leaking. I looked underneath from the side view and can see the upper cylinder attachment point is not vertically on top of where the lower control arm attaches to the KDSS cylinder (see attached photo). Is this normal or is mine bent? Can you please post some side views of your vehicles so I can compare? I have no leaks or any clunking noises, but if I’m spending the Labor $$$ on having the KDSS bled to fix the rear, I might as well do the front too. Thanks Everyone!

I don't have any pictures of mine handy but mine is also frontward a small amount on the bottom compared to the top. Has been like that from day 1.

That is the way it supposed to be, totally normal. Your tech is FOS because he has no way to know if cylinder arm is bent unless he takes the boot off.

you would be surprised how much that cylinder and the fixed link move around, front to back. There was a member here that posted a video, deepsea I think. It was a great angle..

The top is attached with a bushing and it pivots there.
I can't imagine what would have to happen to bend the cylinder. Everything else would be broken first

x2, it has tons of front to back movement, even just messing with the shocks you'll notice it while trying to reattach the sway bar to the LCA.
