This actually has the effect of punishing the people who do take the time to search and look at existing threads/posts. I've been using this site for 5 years, and probably have 3 posts to my name :happy: . It would be a bummer if I did have a legit question or some information that was valuable to the community and couldn't post it in a new thread!
Edit - Well I noticed I have 12 posts to my name now.... but I think its clear what I'm trying to point out.

I think I mentioned this before but I will again regardless. I'll preface it by saying I'm familiar with vBulletin and have run a forum using it. (frontrange4x4.com) There are a couple things that would help immensely.
The biggest thing this forum needs is an image resizer. Not to allow people to upload large images but one that takes any image within allowable size and resizes it to a predermined size. This would eliminate those uploaded photos that are huge making everything on the page to grow proportionately leaving the text tiny. It's annoying and so easily prevented.
There'a another one that allows users to select a bit of text to quote rather than the whole post. Much more efficent and is a step to eliminating those posts with a bunch of images being reposted over and over. Also annoying and preventable.
These two mods availble to any vBulletin owners would improve things considerably. Deleting or removing posts is a bad idea and the end result is worse than the repitition that exists.
There is another mod that does some kind of search that prevents dulpicate posts by displaying similar ones instead. I've see it but never tried it.

Tried to make a video capturing the sound, had to record a while the car started doing it around 40 seconds into this video. Rod Knock? its very inconsistent and will increase with rev but mostly goes away unless idle.
