So I got mine for $1200. But all said and done I've got bout 2G's into it........

i am into my 1st gen.... $25. traded a STOCK 95 nissan pathfinder for it, i have owned it for a few months now and all i have put into it was a few bolts for the top and new headlight bulbs. still need to redo the front end, trans mount, and a couple other things. the stereo i had, adn fixed the electric choke with stuff i had at home.

If I start adding it up, I may start to cry LOL...I think I'm up to 7K and I am not finished
My budget when I started the restore was $6,500 to $7,500 but, as you know budgets are made to be blown

As long as I keep it under 10K I will have a bed to sleep in:hiding:

Well i'm not to sure with my truck, I traded for a car that i had to much into and needed to much to be worth something, but i gotta say i got it for $2500. thats what my car was worth.And so far i have spent $200 bucks on safety and e-test. But i'll be ordering my bj spacers and hd springs later this week. And i'm going to see how much my order from my step dads shop is. I ordered a couple of diff seals, fuel pump, fuel filter, oil pan gasket and 4 skyjacker shocks for my up coming lift. should be around $300 in parts. And it shouldn't cost my more then a couple hundred for the sheet metal and paint.

I got a quote from a friend to spray rhino liner on my front and rear bumpers. he said if i got them ready he would spray them for 100 bucks.
Which i feel is a smokin deal. he said the rhino liner wouldn't stick to the bare aluminum so a have to epoxy them and sand them first.

But to answer your question, I have $200 in cash. So far!!!!:bat:

Puddy i think you have us all beat.
But if i had 7000 to put in my truck she would have a lexus V8
and some big ass tires. Which may happen in the future.

Paid $900 for it, now have about 5 or 6000 in parts and 500 (to set up the gears and lockers) in labor (other than my own). But then it will go anywhere any time and is pretty bullet proof. Must be decent, it's been in 3 magazine articles.
