I had a 2nd gen many years ago now a 2002.

I bought my 98 LE used in 2000. It was a lease vehicle with 24K on the clock. I have never owned a vehicle 14 years before. Most wouldn't last that long and still look this great.
All stock, the only thing that has failed has been the starter ,a 13 year old battery , the radiator, liftgate struts and front stabilizer end links. It has 164 K on the clock.
I know that big replacement parts and money are a coming!

I voted 98 since its my dd and I have owned 2 98s now. Favorite though was my 99 highlander , really regret trading it and I've owned 4 3rd gens 98, 99, 98, 02 and a `90 2nd gen.
