Poly sway bar bushings?

Just installed these, greased them up, and went for a test drive. I immediately noticed less lean while turning and better handling overall. For $40 and half an hour of my time, I'd say it was well worth it.

My OEM rubber bushings seemed pretty soft, but they weren't cracked or anything. Still, the poly made a noticeable difference.

11 year old bushings from my camry still looked great when i swapped to poly bushings as well.

Installed these front and rear. Perfect fit, greasable, big improvement in cornering and ride.

Just a heads up, the front prothane kit (Front Prothane 19-1185) isn't up to snuff for heavy off road use. After only one trip into some pretty technical trails I managed to bend the driver side bracket when the front suspension was cycled. Going to switch back to OEM

Well that sucks. I don't wheel though so no concern to me. Good info for other guys though. What about using the OEM brackets with the poly bushings?

That may work but Im just going back to the factory stuff. It lasted for over 100,000+ miles so I figure it will go for at least that long again

Installed the front and rear bushings last week and it has definitely tightened up the handling and body roll. Very happy with the result.

Yep and I ordered greasable Prothane bushings from Amazon. 19 rear, 29 front. Both are direct bolt in swaps.

For any of you 2020 guys following this thread - my '20 SR5 measures 20mm on the rear and 31mm on the front. I used a digital caliper at several spots on each bar to verify. We're going to have to find something other than what is posted here. If I see something I'll post up some part numbers.

Make sure you measure your bars before ordering anything.

I called White Line, Energy Suspension, and Prothane today. Nobody has either a busing or a bracket for us. If anyone is interested, the rear is 19mm with a bracket that has 3" spacing on the bolts; and the front is 31mm with a 3 1/2" spacing on the bracket bolts.

Whiteline is interested in making something that fits, so I'm going to send them some pics of both sets of bushings/brackets at their request. Maybe we'll have something down the road.

There are NO poly bushing options for KDSS owners.
OEM is still the only option.

It sounds like your SR5 sway bar(s) got beefier, than my 2013? Did you verify the sizing, interested in upgrading mine if that's the case, I wonder if the bolt spacing on the bracket is the same?
