Polyurethane 4th Gen Motor Mounts - Group Buy?

Busted a motor mount on my 04 with the 4.7L and want to replace with some poly based motor mounts. A friend of mine makes ones for different years and models (Tacoma, Tundras, 4Runner) but doesn't yet have a jig for the 4th Gen 4Runner.

Anyone interested here in getting in on a group buy for a set? Not sure how much a set will run yet, need to talk with him on what he'll plan on retailing them for and how much he'll mark them down for us. First step wanted to see if there is any interest.

Eh... not entirely sure I'd want poly motor mount bushings honestly. I mean it's not a race car so it's not like I really care about that itty bitty loss of torque when it winds up vs. the increased transference of vibration.

Then again I wonder if it being BOF would negate that? Anyone have experience with this? I may be willing to consider it if the price is right and the vibration issue isn't as bad as I've experienced in other poly'd engine mount cars.

My I ask: Have you ridden in a car with poly motor mounts?

I did this once and regretted it from the moment I started my car lol

So I have a vibration that continues to elude me. I'm going to replace both the motor mounts and the transmission mount.

Has anyone replaced the motor mounts without pulling the engine, and can tell me how they did it? For the life of me I can't see how to get the driver one out. It appears I would need to pull the CV axle at least on the driver side to get to the mount.

Searched YouTube but only found videos on diagnosing worn/broken mounts but nada on how to R&R. Even my Toyota Repair Manual doesn't show it
