pop is the best way to describe the sound
I do some light off roading ( compared to many of you) mostly forest service roads. The LBJ,OTRE, Springs (talls, front and rear) were all done last year, all OEM form camel back. All Shocks are KYB new at same time. New stearing rack bushings and sway bar bushing at same time. A few months ago, I had to replace the front sway bar links, one was bad (pass front), so replaced them both, NOT OEM, was in a hurry so went aftermarket local. Well about a month ago had to replace the pass front one again. (Lifetime warranty is junk)
now I got this popping noise, front pass side. I can rock the car (engine off) and here this pop sound
I had a coworker rock it while I slid underneath and it sounds like it is coming from the sway bar link. But its all tight. I have no new vibrations driving, no pull or slop, same pop sound regardless of how big or small of a bump Or how hard you rock it
Before replacing it again...could there be something binding in my suspension putting undue load on the say bar link esp the pass side, or is it just cheap parts and coincidence it happens on the right side twice.
BTW, the sway bar links were from Orielleys. Nearest place at the time. They have a lifetime warranty, but I don't think that means squat. Is there better aftermarket, I don't like camelbacks price on links
