I might be able to make it over there, It's up in the air on who's gonna take the duty that weekend for SAR, I'd love to take some trails with people and build some confidence in my rig.

I didn't realize you were with CCSO [MENTION=97516]The_great_him[/MENTION] . Do you guys respond to people on Mt. Saint Helens? We've had a good amount of rescues there this year already. I'd love to come down to casually talk the sar biz too, build up relationship with Naval Air Station Whidbey SAR (NASWI SAR). I can talk all day about that.

I would really appreciate it if you guys could spread the word among your friends on facebook, coworkers, other forums, etc. It's really to support our local Search and Rescue group who is 100% volunteer and rely on community support for equipment, staff, and training. I also welcome any of you to join our monthly meetings to see what we're all about. It's really a great group of volunteers and I'm proud to help serve them.

thats fine, just so you all know these trails are nothing epic, a stock 4runner can, and has done these(several times) just need some careful driving as its tight. but the views are great -on a clear day you can see mt hood and mt st helens and downtown portland as well as the gorge. there are 3 trails about 2.5 miles in total length and if you so desire there is a fairly technical rock crawl area that i have taken my GX over -again careful driving/spotting and you are good with a little lift also i have spotted a stock 3rd gen over a section in the the rock crawl area. but its fun and super close and 100% legal

Awesome me and the wife are excited to head down there. Easy trails are awesome seeing as im driving from JBLM and i have to drive home and to work Monday. Cant wait to meet up and have a runner show. Is it ok if I try and get some other cars to head down there as well or is this going to be a toyota show only?

We have worked with you guys in the past. its been a couple years, but you guys came down to Camp Bonneville and did some SAR basic helo classes with/for us, with some basic line picks. I got pictures of it some place.

I was meaning since its going to be a kind of car show are little imports welcome to come strut their stuff. Im part of a national car club and am trying to build a WA chapter but we only have 3 members at the moment. I know some people with imports that may come out and i have a real clean 87 volvo wagon that i may have someone drive down if i get my brakes done.

I also posted about this in every section on here to help you guys spread the word. Its a good thing that you guys do and me and the wife were interested in getting into something like that but there isn't any organizations by me that i know of. Im sure there is since i live right next to the base. I'll try and print the flyer from owrk otday and post it at some of the stores by my house. Maybe the "military jeepers" group will see it and show up.

I have actually never been to the trails that [MENTION=60147]the great him[/MENTION] is talking about. Hopefully he'll chime in and give you an idea of what they're like and if a Tundra will fit.

What year tundra? First gen Tundras should be OK with careful driving. I personally would not take a full size on these trails... They are narrow with tight turns and trees. If you are good with maneuvering your rig then its up to you. But again as a seasoned 4X4er I wouldn't take a full size, especially if I cared about it. -does t mean it can't be done, just not recommend. I'm sure some of us will have open seats

If they want to make the trek we won't turn them away... I am pretty sure there will be a muscle car or two there as well

Ha ya I do like my paint!!! It's a 2014 C/M. 4" & 35s. Sounds like I am a little big. Hate having that problem......

Well due to unexpected things this weekend we may be bowing out. I need to find the gas money to get there. So hopefully i sell some parts this week and come up with the gas to make it. as of now its not looking good
