Hello everybody!! I'm new to the site.. I was told there might be a wheeling trip coming up? I'm interested.. but wondering if my gutless 3.slow will be enough to keep up with you guys?
 
I know it is late notice, but anybody want to go to Tillamook Forest for some wheeling tomorrow(11/3)?

so im thinking im gonna do another impromptu run over Lola Pass tomorrow. I just got word back from a friend, that there is "deep but passable" snow at the 4000' level, but its all gone by 3000', the pass is at just over 3400' so their should be some good snow. let me know if you want to tag along, again this is last min but i wanta get some good pics before the snow gets too deep or too many people go through. i also might consider going up further along hwy26 to trillium lake and getting some pics there as well. our plan is to leave Vancouver by 0900 tomorrow morning. ill be taking a ton of pics so you can all enjoy

Damn, If it was in the afternoon I would tag along. I am heading east tomorrow for hunting anyways.

if you guys don't mind a newb following along (newb meaning haven't taken the 4runner seriously off road yet), i've never been up to Browns Camp either, been all around it in the Tillamook forest... yeah count me in if you think those credentils won't slow you / everyone else down!

not to be a debbie downer or anything, but i might be the voice of reason here... if you have never been wheeling before or been to browns camp of TSF, then the night time is probably not the time you want to dive into it..., im not saying its all hard core ect, but night wheeling brings a whole new set of challenges to the table that even people who are used to day time wheeling and or the area in which they are going can make things "interesting"...

sorry Cory, im not trying to kill your group run, or talk people out of it, i just want to make sure no one gets in over their head. -id be going if it wasnt for the fact that i(we -the wife/fiance and i) have a ton of wedding crap to do still, and really only 3 weekends to do it in, and the gas money.
 
I agree Kid, night time is no time to play the hero, i'm not new to wheeling, i am new to wheeling in the 4runner, i had a GMC Sierra my old friends called 'the tank' because it's owner (your's truly) would take it up, over, and through, way before i had right tires a lift or recovery method... i think i'll try and make this, to see what the Brown is all about, i'd like to go up earlier than 4 also just to see the place....
