rear window is the only one down in that pic but moments before i didnt think my front power windows would roll them up fast enough haha

its up on the 5704 road, and on the 54...
i saw you too, sorry i didnt say high, i blew out my back again last night(lifting my f**king spare tire into the back of the runner), and so i was kinda spaced out on pain killers, and was showing an army buddy around up there with the guys i ran with. -who was that crazy guy in the stock red tacoma the one with manual hubs and the 4cyl? did he end up hydro-locking that thing? we tried running the 57 all the way out to carson, but the 57 is washed out about 2 or so miles in from the 5407 Y. so we ran the 5407(calamity peak rd) till we saw the guy in the red first gen taco trying to swamp his rig in the ice puddle, then continued on down to the 54. from there we went out the the 34 and was going to take that all the way back down the beginning of the 54 but the snow just got too deep(we had guys locked F&R on beadlocked 37s and it wasnt happening). and the brush was so laid down by the wet snow that it almost made the road disappear. i ended up breaking my bug shield/guard, a ventshade, ripped one of my tail light guards almost clean off, broke the plast grille on the ram air for the snorkel and scratched the living chit out of my runner(kinda like the buckcherry song crazy b*tch). not to mention almost losing my rig off the cliff. -i hope someone has pics of that. i was too sore to get out and take pics. i really shouldnt of been out there today, but i promised id take my buddy snow wheeling. did you see that black and tan limited 3rd gen with the yakima rack? i saw him when i pulled in and then saw him pull out with that first group, looked like a nice rig.

I didn't pay to much attention to many rigs around only saw you because you where parked right in front lol.
As soon as I got there my group was trying to head out and it got a little hecktic with all hundred or so rigs at the store. The only 3rd gens I saw was yours mine and my step moms bf in his 00 3rz runner.
Sorry to hear about your back and some damage sounds like my trip when I was 15 with my dad haha nothing went right for him and he almost rolled off also. Wish my group would have tried to gone further

how far did you go? just up to that big mud hole?, i thought about running though it, but i didnt want to risk getting stuck and having all my gear get soaked just to show off, that and my back... that would have caused someone else to get all wet trying to hook up and that just would not be cool!

We took the low road the pictures of my first Gen last year was the mud hole. We went a good 40-50 miles up the mtn

yeah that sounds like my rig... my parents live over there... what time of day, and did it have a snorkel, and or say "SEARCH RESCUE" on the rear dust deflector/wing?

I wish I had time to go wheeling. I'm guiding a few guys on Saturday to catch some steelhead. I may be able to work out a mid week wheeling trip if anyone is interested.
