It was alright, went to the tail end of it but some cool cars. A guy was there in a lifted jeep I knew. haha
On another note, nobody go to the shell station on woodstock! The mexican attendant there broke my fuel door off the hinge and tried covering it up by latching it. My buddy saw it happen.
The guy kept avoiding me and I finally confronted him and he was super defensive right off the bat. He tried pulling off the I don't speak english real well trick. To his surprise, I had my bilingual fiance got out of the truck and started speaking to him in spanish. I got his bosses card so they will be getting some phone calls tomorrow. It's a bunch of crap, own up to your mistakes and don't try to cover them up!
He said he has it on video camera that he didn't do it, but would refuse to show them to me.

Ah man that's no good... i would of called the cops if he didn't admit to it, those recordings are on a loop-overwrite, don't let it go too long! good luck man!

Man f that... I'd be so pissed I'd of called the cops and the owner and reported it as vandalism as soon as he tried to deny it or act like it wasn't his fault.
Back when I was in highschool I worked at a lumber yard/builders supply and had to move a customers truck to gain access to some concrete bags, as I was moving his truck I backed into another group of pallets of concrete and broke out his tail light. I knew who owner of the truck was as he would come in quite often, but that was all I knew about him, just some old guy who was a regular. Anyhow I took the keys with me so he couldnt leave, went and got my supervisor and then went and found the owner and informed him that I had damaged his truck, and was sorry. The company told him to go get it fixed or get an estimate and they would pay for it. A couple weeks latter the same guy was back in and bought me lunch to tank me for my honesty... It wasn't much and he in no way had to, but it just goes to show that it pays to be honest. Another time I bumped into a car while parallel parking and was in the middle of leaving a note when this guy walks up and tells me he had seen me hit his car and was happy to see an honest person doing the right thing and told me to not worry about it as it didn't do any damage.
God I hate people who just try to scam and skeez their way out of chit... It makes me so angry and wanting to punch people...

I guess it is just a rare thing these days unfortunately. I'm trying to get a hold of the owner. He was supposed to be in at 11am today but didn't come in today. I'll keep trying tomorrow. I won't let them off the hook that easy. It's a bunch of BS. I wish I caught him as soon as he did it.
So for now I'm rolling around without a fuel door because I don't want to lose it. :rant:

Well that's good that the owner was at least reasonable (so far). You've had quite an experience haha...
I had a buddy who had a similar experience. He told the attendant to fill up his truck with diesel and the attendant filled it up with gasoline. My friend caught it before driving off, but the attendant tried to blame it on my friend because his SUV didn't 'look' like it had a diesel engine, even thought it clearly had a sticker on the gas tank door that said Diesel only. He had to fight that gas station to get them to pay for his tow to the local mechanic shop, and the labor required to get the gasoline removed.

Same thing happened to my dad about a month ago. He drives a duramax. He said fill it diesel and they put a full tank of premium in it. Luckily he caught it before it was finished (almost there though) and didn't start his truck. The station had to pay a mobile mechanic to come drop his tank on the spot. All while he had a 12' dump trailer full of crap attached. Makes me wish oregon was a pump your own gas kind of state.
That way if I put e85 in my diesel, it's my own damn fault. :first:

These were all taken up North Fork in Washougal Washington. I go dirtbiking up there and know this place like the back of my hand. Willing to take anyone up there!
The trails go from dirt roads to stuff I wouldn't touch without a bobbed truck on 37s. We had tons of fun. until the very end...
I got stuck right off the bat... tires weren't going anywhere. Also, someone took brandons pin that keeps the hitch in place so we used my craftsman wrench. it worked! cont..

The second stump I was flexed on was pretty tall. Tall enough to stuff my rear tire waayyy up there. That's my girl in the pictures. Brandon's was working so he brought his dog. You'll never guess the dogs name though..

After teasing Brandon enough he finally hit the hole where I got stuck and he got stuck too. Whole tire was under the mud on the other side of his truck. Used the craftsman wrench to pull him out because we had nothing to hold the hitch in! haha.

I was so excited. First time really wheeling and not driving up and plopping in a spot and starting a fire. I was also excited because we didn't have any accidents. When I convinced Brandon to hit the hole he messed up his skid plate and that's why he posted on here looking for another one. :yo:
He hauled ass home and actually drove home like that, we couldn't wrench it off or break it off.. He made it home! told me it took a couple hours to get it off. Those are all the pictures!

Skid plate? Looks like custom body kit to me.
We need to get together and wheel in a group. I have never been up there when it is not snowy (or during the day).
I just texted someone on craigslist about a 98 he is parting out. Hopefully I can get one cheap.
I'd be fine with that. Maybe browns camp where there is a bit more to do for those who aren't built for the extreme stuff?

Better not be leaving without me. We went on a Monday so I didn't bother posting if anyone wanted to go. I assume most people worked a m-f 9-5 or something like that.
