Caught 92-SR5 at the top of the hill by browns camp. You pulled off to the side and I honked. Haha.

Well I decided to head to sand lake for the sand flea rally after I got off work. I did a quick stop at browns camp to wheel a trail or two with a friend.
Met up with Jaketino out there. Lots of cool rigs.

This husky was on the back of an fj45!

Represented the T4R community at sand lake until I saw 92-SR5.

Can't wait to check out what damage I did to the bottom of my rig after jumping off a ledge. Fun times though.

I was surprised at how many toyotas were out there. I literally could not get mine stuck out there. haha Stick it in low gear and it goes up anything.

I was trying to figure out why mine was so underpowered. Has been for the last week or so. Not just the sand. That's my next project...

all of a sudden lost power? Have you checked the basics like air filter, cleaning the MAF, plugs/wires, cap/rotor?

Replaced the plugs when I bought it (6 months ago?), wires the day before we left for the rally, seafoamed about a month ago, air filter is good. Dropped by isaacs and had him check it out a bit. He suggested the wires and plugs. It is rough at about 2500 rpm and seems to have less push behind it unless the torque converter is engaged. If I keep it below 2500 (which I should teach myself to drive that way. lol.) it drives fine but passing and such seems slow.

Replace the fuel filter, clean the MAFS, & IAC, maybe look into changing the upstream(before cat) o2 sensor run a couple of cans of sea foam through the fuel tank though first before changing out the sensor and filter. Then after all of that reset the ECU(pull the EFI fuse for 20min).

I didn't really have the time to check but I'm pretty sure they are. I may just change them out again anyway to make sure it isn't the issue.

I posted this before we left the beach house to head home. We took the long way back but as long as I kept it out of the 2k-2.5k range I never had an issue. Maybe I just need to drive slower? Haha. I'll still try going over those things this week to see if there is something wrong.

Anybody going to Oregon Trail Rally this weekend? I'll be there!
My runner will be a trailer queen this weekend going over there. :biggrin1:

If someone is free sunday would they want to show me how to change my front and rear diff fluid and my transfer case? got sunk and i'm not wanting to pay 350$ for a change. I already have 6 quarts of redline 75w90 gl-5 in my truck. Kinda desperate for help. I know there are write ups but apparently i'm going to kill myself (words from my mother). I'll buy you lunch and can meet around Vancouver area.
I'm not looking to have someone do it for me. I'm looking for them to teach me how to do it and make a new t4r buddy. I don't have that many tools either.
I know there are write ups but being 18 and under a parents roof, she over reacts for me doing a basic drain fill, drain fill, drain fill.
