I've honestly never found a perfect leather 4Runner seat, even the back ones are always destroyed, but I'm always on the lookout lol.

We must not have the killer junkyards that Washington has or something - Busmup808 scored perfect seats, taco front clip, Bils coil-overs, and even a fold down seat out of a Subaru Brat that fits perfect into the 4Runner trunk all from his local yard. I may have to spend a couple vaca days checking out Puyallup

I've had awesome luck at our junkyards so I'm not complaining, hell, more than half my 4Runner came from there.

If I could only find a set of Limited front fenders in black I'd be happy.

That black one in Turner was a limited - but I think only one of the fenders was still good.

Come on Isaac - you say WA is better but you are on an OR thread getting ready to wheel an OR (TSF) area. You are a closet Oregonian - you just don't have to pay income tax.

Mahalos for the compliment. The front drivers seat that i got had the heated seats, but the passenger didn't. I just bought the drivers side. My passenger side is mint.
My whole taco front clip was from the same yard and also my TRD Tundra coils. I wish it was coilovers! The 3rd row seat is from a tracker/sidekick.

I might be selling my drivers front seat and the 3rd row seat to fund something else that I need to do. Let me know if anyone is interested. Aloha and have a good day people!

dont forget in the Or Guard, and still have a Or drivers license(so i dont pay sales tax in Wa either) its winning on so many levels.

-i only go wheeling in Or because it the closest place to me, but here in the next couple of weeks that will all change when the new trails open up up here...

Oh I'll put out the info on the trails just as soon as I get the go ahead when they become open. Still got a few more weeks till that happens. But be sure I'll let you all know. And don't expect anything like browns camp at first... Those trails have been out there for 20+ years, these are all pretty much brand new trails we are punching in and building. Lots of volunteer hours and thankfully we are being backed by the state and local entities.

And i wouldnt expect anything like browns, I've been going there 23 years now and its just getting either over populated or ass hats going there and ruining trails for people who help maintain and builds them

That's them... We are close to opening them. But the more people go up there and illegally wheel the more we have to go fix that and put an end to that thus taking away time resources and money from putting in the legitimate trails and slowing the whole process down, not to mention the bad pr it gives "us" and automatically gets associated to "us". And don't even get me started on the shooters up there who target shoot in our work area... Its been a long tough road to this point. But soon it will all be worth it.

Yeah i defiantly can't wait, there was alot of good logging roads to play on can only imagine what sanctioned trails will do for that place, i just hope the high school kids won't ruin it for the rest of us. I'll admit I've done wrong in the mtns but that was a long time ago.
They still trying to turn the prison into the staging area?

It was actually a dark blue. Went tan when the clear coat was peeling so bad. I am goint to paint a spare hood with some black plastidip to see if it helps cut down on the glare from the light bar. Depending how it looks maybe i'll do the whole truck..6 cans could do it...

I'm sure most of you know about the 36 pit fire going on. I have worked on it the last couple days. Had today off, but currently on standby to go back out. Figured I'd show some pics. Not all pics are mine FYI. No 4runner content though, sitting at home with a broken axle. :dammit:

Cory, were you directing radio traffic or actually fighting the fire?
Nothing more amazing then the sounds of fire when it's in the treetops.

Yeah it's a real bummer. That area is like my backyard. It was some people making poor decisions while shooting.
I was working some radio traffic, but mostly doing fire watch. Observing fire behavior for the ground crews and watching for spot fires. Plotting the spot fires on a map, and radioing in the information to incident command. Also helping patrol/close roads and evacuate citizens.

If you are close enough to hear fire crowning in the trees, it's time to GTFO quick. :bolt:

Yeah, I tend to get carried away when stuff like that happens. You are right, they were people out having fun and made some poor decisions. It can happen to any one of us that play in the woods, although I pray to god I never accidentally start something like that.

Hopefully it turns wet here in a few days, at least the humidity is rising that should help some.

Be careful up there, enjoy the experience and stay out of the way of Mother Nature, she yields to no man.
