That 4R looks awesome! I'm about to do a snorkel but going to wait a little longer to see if they come out with a kit or I might just do the mod to get it to fit.

I too am hoping my bumper is completed before the trip!

well i made myself productive today and started in on my air locker install... funny as i dont have the locker in hand yet, but ive got the compressor and have been working on a place to put it and making a case/gage/box for it being as though it will have to go under the truck(no room under the hood). it i get this all done and dont go to school then i will be so super stoked to take it out in 3 weeks!

I am going to head up for some scouting this weekend to check out the camping arrangements and get an idea of what it's all about. Not doing any solo trails, just surveying the land. Anyone want me to look into anything in particular? Let me know.

I grew up in Beaverton, but never really made it to Browns camp with my dirt bike sadly. so I know nothing about the goods to be had. but my buddy might. I am up for anything really as a tag along.

looking fwd to meeting up with you guys. and mabye we can get a Beer at a Mcnimumus before we part ways (if there is time) just a thought. Grand lodge is in Forest grove where my dad lives.

The closest gas station. My truck is horrible on gas and will probly need to bring a jerry can if its a drive.

^if you fill up in Banks or North Plains you will be fine, its like a 40min drive from portland and except for the last 5 or so miles you can do 60-65mph the whole way, ive spent two days up there before on one tank of gas.

i could be up for this as well... 503 953 3085. i wouldnt bring my runner though as i am still waiting for the insurance adjuster to come look at the damage. so id be taking one of my old 85 pickups. and i just found out that im 99% sure i will not be going to school so i should be clear for the 15th!

I've been pondering where to meet up tomorrow... Was thinking the Fred Meyer on Cornelius Pass Rd. right off 26. Good place to grab any last minute food/drink items on the way and there's a Chevron station too to top off the tanks. Let me know here or on my cell 971 221 9496

IMO that freddys is the best place to stage. the only things really on the way after that are a couple remote gas stations and country store type places that are pretty spendy for anything. for that matter, that there chevron by freddys is pretty expensive, like .08 +/- more then the cheaper places in town fwiw. you might want to think about filling somewhere else.

havent heard yet but he just finished installing and sent me pics of his new cold air system on his 3rd gen so i imagine he'll be heading in the house soon to confront his master. lol, dont tell him i said that. Hope to hear soon.

update: still no update, lol, havent heard back from my friend yet. If you guys do meet up at the fred meyer, im only like 5 min away from there. Hopefully you guys will check back here before then. if not i see your number nate and ill hit you up tomorrow if i dont hear back tonight.

Also everybody fyi, ive had sprint, nextel, and verizon up there and all of them lose signal once you get up there. cant speak for other carriers but those for sure are unreliable once you get out there.

Heard back, permission denied lol. Well i dont think the corolla im in at the moment would make it much past the campground. Look fwd to some pics or jeep rescue stories. Ill deff be there with the runner on the 15 th though.

Some of are going down to Sandlake for the day. Be my first trip for the 4runner after new timing belt and water pump. We will be down there around 11'ish. I'm a Red 4runner 97 with stock washington plates, and our buddy is driving a modified to heck 84 toyota pickup ;p
