I got a friend who needs a 97' taco to take measurements for a plate bumper that he is fabricating. If you know anyone with a Taco with the same body style as a 97 let me know and I can get them in contact if the metal fab guy. He is willing to trade work/bumpers/sliders for the letting him take the measurements. PM me

I think the only difference from 97 to 98 in the Tacoma line-up was the use of the protruding headlights as oppose to the 97 headlights being caved in, sort of like the difference between the 1990 runner and the 92 4runner. Also I believe the 98 Tacoma saw the first TRD package.

Would he be willing to do a 4th Gen Rear Bumper. I'd obviously pay for materials if hes willing to build a bumper for me. I am VERY interested in finding someone willing to fab something for me rather then buying something from the other companies.

hey hey guys, im back, still need to install my sliders and skids, and i bought a second trans cooler(even bigger one) with a fan, i have been having some issues with super high temps, like 225+, yesterday i was out with the skamania county sheriffs office on a search and rescue and was going up this long grade at fairly slow speeds and pegged my trans temp gauge at 250... and then another guy in a jeep blew his radiator about 10min later, needless to say i started getting a bit nervous but never had an issue. anyhow yeah im gonna be running two coolers, one with a 10" electric fan, so hopefully that should bring temps down. but we all need to get out and wheel soon and or do some maintenance

just got my timing belt kit in the mail today. Tomorrow is unfortunately the only day off I have until thursday next week. But i definitely need alot of help with the timing belt kit so I'm in for a maintenance party

Hey guys! I'm back in Oregon now. Today I got to work on the rig and get some diy stuff done. Plasti Dipped the rear plastic above the bumper and half the emblems. Also flushed and replenished the power-steering fluid. It was black as molasses. I'll try to get some pics of the rear bumper tomorrow; it turned out really good.

Why such high temps you think? Cause you were crawling at slow speeds?
