also of note, if you dont have a hitch, the hangers can be used in the rear as well. i will also throw in a second recovery hook (i moved the hook from the front to the rear and added a second hook so there is one on both sides of the frame (recovery points on all 4 corners.)

Let me know where and when you guys will be meeting to go wheeling. I may join you guys. I was thinking about going up to browns camp once I am done replacing my wheel bearing, re-building my CO's, replacing the clutch, and getting my sliders put on the tacoma. Do any of you mind if I invite some of my tacoma buddies?
 
hey, just outta curiostiy, do any of u know how to do a converstion to 4 wheel drive? or anyone that mite know how? sadly my 4runner is the major lame-o 2wd? :(
 
Today I removed my CO's and drivers side spindle. I am hoping by this next weekend I will have my new re-built CO's and my bearing replaced. As soon as I get the truck back I am going to have to get the clutch replaced as well then order my sliders. Then I will be ready to go wheeling! lol

Am thinking Sand Lake might be the best bet for a last minute wheel? It is fairly close and off of TSF so if we get board or it's too crowded we can hop over to Brown's in a jiffy and hit some trails? What do you think?
 
Ahhh I would have totally been down to go if I wasn't working tomorrow...darn! I was just near sand lake about a week or two ago. First time driving on the sand and the 4Runner handled fantastic. Next time with more heads up I'm down.

I couldn't make it... I don't have my truck and I had other things going on that day as well. Did you guys end up going?


EDIT: A few of us are planning on going out to Brown's camp this September. My truck is waiting on some re-built CO's then I need a new clutch. I remember my friend saying something about wheeling after August 9th... I am going to California on the 2nd through the 4th. Then when I get back I am hoping my truck will be ready by then.
I think it would be cool to have a tacoma and 4runner wheeling day.

Sweet! Mucho appreciado. I'm really starting to feel like only half a person with my girl Jade still in retirement. Had no idea 5 months later I'd still be seeking employment. It's hard out there for a pimp right now lol. Either way super stoked at the prospect of a browns trip and meeting more of the toy family.
