A10milehusker, I saw you on 217 while I was heading out to Browns camp.
I went out by myself for a base line to see with just the 2.5 lift how capable this rig is.I started out running the short part of powerline and crawled up it. I even made it up university firepower and the really tight section of powerline that's just past the univ f.p. #10. It was fun. All were moderate Not even damage to the running boards and didn't get stuck. ATRAC works great... I would be down to go on another run after I get rid of these open country a/ts..

I know the feeling of wheeling on stock tires. I ran mine with stock tires for ever.

Hi guys this is my first time posting on here but i have been looking around for a bit.
I just wanted to know if anyone wanted to go to browns camp this weekend Saturday the 8th sometime in the morning to go wheeling. I have never been there would like to meet up with some people that know the place and that could tell us or show us what trails to go on.
My truck is basically stock but has the running boards removed I think it might have taller springs but not to sure.
Friend that will be going has a 2004 tacoma 3inch lift, sliders,front and rear aftermarket bumpers.

i might be interested in this... will have to check with the wife(activities manager lol) to ok it as ive been gone the last 2 weekends with the army doing "H" stuff. but if i can i might bring a budy along with his newly lifted(by me) 94 fzj80... -chris if you wanta tag along let me know i might have an open seat....

You'll be fine running stock...I have the last three times I went out and The Kid did last time I went out with him.
Arrrrrg...I wanna join bad! If only I didn't have to work weekends...maybe I can get work off Saturday last minute...:/

so what time are you thinking of heading out? my wife kinda wants me to go to church with her and the kids, and not gonna lie i kinda want to too, but if everyone is wanting to go earlier then i can probably just enjoy Gods nature out in the woods. but yeah anyhow what time are we looking at for this?

So we would like to start heading out by 9am but now we are trying to figure out a place to meet everyone. So I live in Tigard and my friend is coming from Clackamas. He told me that people meet at the shell out there so if anyone has better place to meet or wants to meet closer to town that should work too.

I know...I know...I can easily get weekends off so long as I have a good amount of heads up...normally these trips come up fast. Anyway I think I have almost all my bases covered for work on Saturday...So...75% sure I can go
Time is negligible for me....but I wouldn't mind going that early (if I make it). As far as I hear the Shell near there is a good spot to meet because soon after that you start to lose cell coverage. I have my CB installed, minus the mount (waiting on my Drifter33 ehhem Outdoor Logic mounts) so if people wanted to join slightly later I could keep my CB on a predetermined channel?

0930 at the shell station or the banks chevron(there is a store at banks so you could pick up last min munchies if need be...) would work best for me as i have to come from northeast vancouver. and the i think we found last time the lower channels(under 20) push out further, so what do you say we run ch 14? 9 and 19 are emergency channels and i think they use 13 for the logging trucks.
hey 04tacoma, you wanta join in on this? i know you keep trying to grab us to go to sand lake, it sounds like there will be another taco out there with us... my buddy with the 80 series wont be able to make it. and yes criera i have room for you.

Also just wanted to know what channel you guys are going to use because my friend has a CB.
Yes this trip is on Saturday 9/8/11. Next time I plan on going out I will make sure to notify People earlier.
