Portland oregon

snow level is supposed to drop to 1000' by friday. for the past two days i have been up at ryan lake wa. in the, green river valley, and it has been snowing up their sense sat. today it just started dumping up there and i got to spend some time running old back logging roads and over grown trails. it was about 2500' there so it is coming...

fyi there technically is no legal wheeling on larch mountain, i know it sucks but yeah.
 
Does anyone have a SWR meter I could borrow (used to tune antenna tip on CB Radio) that lives in the area? Ever since I installed my Cb and got the 4' antenna mounted on a Outdoor Logic mount I don't feel like I get a good signal. Granted this is my first CB so I'm new to this stuff.

I'm guessing either:
-Antenna needs to be taller (to stand taller above the roof plane).
-Antenna needs to be tuned
-Bad ground (I sanded some of the area on the mount, but not too much because it rusts easily)
-All/combination of the above
 
Glad those springs worked out for you THE KID. I haven't been on here in a while! I moved to Hawaii for work and haven't seen my baby (the 4runner) in a couple months. My brother is enjoying the rig while I'm gone, not too sure when I'll be back for a visit. Really miss the t4r community!

glad to know your still alive! i cant wait till i have the $$$ to get the toytec lift, then i can make use of those 9wraps too... he must not drive it all that much, cause i dont ever see it around(that can be a good thing though, not racking up miles). let us know when you get back to the portland area, we will all have to get together and do something even if its just BS and kick tires
 
I am coming to town again to visit family. bad thing is its during the week. any week day runs planned? I know that dont help much, but I am limited on my time in Portland and then to Bend before I come back to Montana. sorry I missed the lasted one I was hoping to make.
anyway just thought I would throw it out there. Probably Thursday would be the best day for me.

as in tomorrow!?! i am not working so i could meet up somewhere to say hi and kick tires and drool over your rig ect, but low on $$$ so no wheeling for me

sorry should have specified the date and day. (Jan 4 or 5th)
Next week. I leave Montana New years day (depending on how I feel lol) then pretty much hanging with the folks through out the week. dad is retired so its harder to get away as I am sure we will try and play golf or something.
then the mom works during the day so I can see her after a day at browns camp or something.
with my time frame I really dont see it happening due to the fact its during the week and most work. and I leave friday for Bend.

my OR trips are never relaxing any more. always go here and there to see family.

might be able to meet up though depending on out schedules. I will be in Forest grove, Hillsborito and Tigard/Beaverton area most of the time.

I gots to get back to work on Wednesday (4-Jan) so the weekdays won't work for me, but will be free that weekend if anyone else is still down?

@ The Kid, I hear you on the cash front, can just afford the gas and lunch for the day, but otherwise in the same boat and haven't had a chance to do any mods of late, hoping for a bonus this year at work and fingers crossed can finally get into a front bumper and winch, always good to spend the money before you get it; LOL!
