this guy totally flaked on me. I called him up and he seemed very nice and straight forward. Everything was a go and I was going to paypal him the money after he set up his account. Never heard back from him and I sent him several texts, calls, messages, emails and no response. I have no idea what happened, kinda weird.

I saw that guy about a month ago and almost bit. Then I figured he must be up to something for selling so cheap. Glad we both made it unscathed.

The story was he was a mechanic at a Toyota dealership and some lady had bought new from the dealer and had him installed it. She was looking to make the runner have more get up and go but after having it on her truck for two days she realized she didn't like the sound of the blower whine, and wanted to return it. The supercharger sat in a box at the dealership for like 2 years. Finally one day the mechanic asked his manager if he could buy it because he wanted to have a spare for his already supercharged Tacoma. He got it for dirt cheap because the dealer didn't know what to do with a "used" item even though essentially it was brand new. He owned it and kept it in a box in his garage for a few months before coming to the realization that he doesn't really need a "spare" supercharger.

Like I said everything seemed very legit and honest. I spoke to him and his wife about it but he needed to setup up a paypal account and call me back.... then, that never happened no matter how hard I tried to get in contact with him.
