My guess if that based upon his track record... He added more gimmicky chemicals and now no longer has an operating engine in the 4runner.

An engine that was that gunked up...no chemical in the world is going to help. The engine needs to be completely torn down. Definitely not an engine that saw frequent oil changes.

am interested in this case, cos a pals v6 runner makes a loud clanging noise on startup...tech said it was the timing chain that needed changing, and the error codes we pulled from the Car reflected such, he went ahead and bought the timing chain kit plus accesories on ebay, yet the noise still persists......and is even getting worse.
