I could be mistaken, but I don't believe the Torque app has the Crash Alert feature. Also, based on the screenshots, the app seems to be a bit more refined than Torque.
Torque doesn't have Crash Alert. Looks more refined, maybe at the expense of customizability, which I like about Torque. Although user friendliness and documentation are Torque's real weak points.

Did anyone find out exactly what parameters this can monitor? I looked on the site but I didn't really see that mentioned. It looks like a really great concept for overall driver convenience, I am very curious to hear real world reviews once you guys get it. However, it's probably not going to be as great of a diagnostics/performance monitoring app like Torque, it's not really comparing apples to apples here IMO. Each one seems to have their own strong points and focused towards different uses.

I have the same phone, I think there might be some confusion as to how you are trying to connect two BT devices simultaneously and that's why you are having trouble. If you go into your BT settings where you can see all the paired devices, you can click on the little gear icon and select/deselect what functions you want each paired device to access. So long as you don't have two devices with overlapping functions they can be paired at the same time.
For example I have a dedicated earpiece capable of call audio and media audio, and I have a gaming headset that is capable of both also. On the earpiece I only select call audio, and on the gaming headset I only select media audio, and both will work simultaneously just fine. Calls get routed to the earpiece, music gets routed to my headset.
The BT transceiver for this Automatic App is likely not going to using either type of BT audio profile, so I think you can connect to your car and the Automatic at the same time just fine.
