Great looking Staffordshires! My girlfriend and I are looking to adopt a dog and every time we go to the shelters to look we always gravitate towards the bullys which sucks because so many places don't allow them which is a shame. I hate that there are so many bullys that are great dogs but don't get rescued because of all of the breed restrictions. Sorry for my little rant I'm just a little frustrated at not being able to rescue one lol. Your bullys look like they have great personalities!

I know. Until you own a place, it is damn hard to adopt a breed that has so many prejudices against them. Insurance is another crazy thing. I can't change providers because many insurers won't do the homeowner's policy with certain breeds. Funny thing is that they are the sweetest, mellowest and friendliest dogs. There are bad owners but the dogs in general are the most stable minded dogs out there. Hope you and your girlfriend can eventually have one! They do take a lot of time though because they are extremely people needy.

My mutt Bailey. Part Coon dog, part every other dog. She is the laziest dog known to man. Sleeps 23 1/2 hours a day and rests the other 1/2 hour. I love it.

My 3 (almost 4!) year old Gordon Setter, Bailey. We rescued her after she had 3 families in as many years. She needed a lot of work and tranining, but some serious persistence, a hell of a lot of reading online, she is turning into quite a good dog. I am very proud of her now, as 1 year ago a trip to the dog park would yield very defensive behavior and barking. Now she is quite sociable and doesn't mind mingling with the other dogs. She is slowly learning to play with a tennis ball, but loves stuffed toys! Still working on minute details pertaining to obedience and commands, but overall she has shown so much improvement! She even doesn't mind the camera as much, where as when I first began taking photos, she became quite skittish and photo-shy!

That's most likely the best picture I have. It's fairly common for her to sleep on her back between my wife and I. If I take my backpack out of the closet she instantly starts going crazy and running all around the house. I never wanted a small dog, but she's grown on me.

I'm jealous I love Irish wolfhounds. Would love to have one but moving out of the country unfortunately, and moving into a subdivision closer too work. If I stayed closer to my family's 60 acres I'd have one in a heartbeat

Ghillie is 4 months old, and she just weighed in today at 48.5 lbs! The other 2 are 8 and 10 months, and both weigh 102.

I always joke about how my dog lives better then most people I know. Then again, they bring such unconditional love why shouldn't we return the favor.
This thread is probably my most favorite on the site, I think you can easily judge a persons character by the way their dog is treated.
