Here is my crew. They are Rhodesian Ridgebacks, I currently have two but have owned the breed since 2004. Raw fed for 8 years, reduced vaccines and absolutely no topical pesticides for over 6 years.

Miss Ember is 2 1/2, Mister Siege is 5 and Miss Mika was my best dog ever. She passed away last November too young from Cancer at 9 1/2. Definitely not the breed for everyone as their exercise requirements ca be rather high.

Sorry to hear about Miss Mika, I lost my boy to cancer at 10 years old last December

Guess I'll add to the sadness. Layla (black) has been fighting cancer since the beginning of summer but the current set of tumors are going to take her this time. As if that wasn't bad enough, Rosco (tan) was just diagnosed with a different kind of cancer yesterday, and it has been very difficult on him, he doesn't have much time left. Both are only 8 years old.

10 years ago today I adopted my first dog, had him for 9 years before I lost him to cancer last december. Still miss him every day. RIP buddy

Had Doberman's since married, after college:
- 1977 Tanya / trained in Confirmation & Obedience...scored 198.5/200 points, in OB trial
- 2000 Amy / self trained on & off leash, Obedience titled & Therapy Certified for senior volunteer work (hospital & nursing home visits)
Amy was as close to huminized & language intellegent, as most dogs can get.
In senior years, she routinely read my mind - always barked in my face, 5 minutes before I got my truck keys...which meant her ride was coming.
- 2012 Kelly / a 25 hour round trip, to get this puppy (out of IL)
And son's little Trevor, we also love the YorkiePoo...Mr. T. visits us, usually once/week & is one smart little guy.

My baby turned 10 years old yesterday, I got her when she was a 6 week old puppy. Still acts like a 2 year old, plenty of energy. Love her so much!
