I have a 2000 limited desert dune with silver clading,i am going to color match clading but need the last 8 digets of a vin that has desert dune flares,i need it so dealer can tell what color code rubber gasket i need,mine calls for silver sense my clading is silver.

Big things coming for my 4R! Just ordered rear bumpers (primed not chromed) to replace my rotting ones off rockauto along with a complete TBU.

My plan is to get the rear bumper colour matched with powder coat. Hopefully they can achieve a similar gloss to the factory paint.

I have yet to see a colour matched stock bumper on SR5 trim so I'm pretty excited. Will consider sending in the chrome portion on my front bumper to get it matched as well.

Always makes me happy to see how well this $760 truck polishes up!

Also did some preventative maintenance on the pinch welds. After putting the running boards back on, the black POR15 blends in perfectly....Now I just need to do the ENTIRE undercarriage. hah

Got my new bumper back from powder coat. In case anyone is curious, this is what RAL 9006 looks like. A few shades off but good enough for now. Will keep em from rusting away until I can paint match.

Nothing done to it so far. Running boards got all beat up. Needs ground clearance ASAP.

Yes sir. West Texas has some decent mountains (for Texas) to include the Franklins in El Paso and the Guadalupe mountains to the north, north east. Guadalupe has the highest point in Texas.

All high desert.

I've actually got to pull off the plastidip on the fenders and properly paint them with bed liner. The plastidip peeled where it met with the painters tape. Easy fix, just time consuming to do it over again.

Lesson learned.

Next is an aftermarket front and rear bumper from Savage.
