New Pads

All the new stuff looks good! How do the new brakes feel? I have a set of tundra calipers laying around but I think I might just go the powerstop route since they are already rebuilt and powdercoated. Also do the brake pads squeak at all? I've heard ceramic pads tend to do that when it's cold out.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I needed to put some miles on it first. I must say, this is clearly one of the best mods you can do. There's absolutely no brake fade at all. My pads are not squeaking and I'm not seeing any brake dust on the wheels. I'll update you in the winter on the pads.

I also went with Wheelers Off Road stainless brake lines which helped a lot. I needed to prioritize my upgrades in order of importance and since a new bumper was in store with skid plates and bigger tires I wanted to make sure I had the braking power to support the additional weight without stressing the front end, engine and tranny.

This upgrade should be one of the highest on everyone's list. I look at it as preventive maintenance. Move it to the top of your list!!

New face lift and a 1" lift added

I though about color-matching the new bumper and the tubing on my sliders (Not installed yet) but I think the black actually looks good on the Imperial Jade paint. It adds a little contrast to the color along with the black tires.

• Shrockworks Bumper
• CBI Rock Sliders

Rear bumper and recovery gear (Warn 9000 winch) is next but not my next priority.

Thanks! As for the SR5 emblem, I too was curious for I've never seen it also. I'll probably remove it once I remove the running boards next week.
