Post your Fender to hub measurements!

Looks like I will be doing my tax return as early as possible this year!... hopefully I get a decent return so I can buy my parts and then come back here with my updated measurements.

Looking into all this too, needing new shocks and trying to decide whether to get OME coils along with them.

98 Limited, oem coils replaced at recall in 2003, 1/2 tank gas:

Both fronts: 20.75"
Driver rear: 20.5"
Passen rear: 21"

On an empty tank, maybe both rears would be at 21", which would give me about 1/4" rake unloaded.

HELP!! I am posting in this thread even though it it old because it has the perfect title. I have spend days trying to determine what replacement suspension I want. Everyone does try to help but "close, I think, looks like, probably" is not what people looking for information need.

Please post up your measurements for CENTER OF HUB TO BOTTOM OF FENDER ONLY that way anyone can know immediately due to tire size elimination!

96 OEM worn out suspension W/256K
Front = 21" Red/Blue Springs
Rear = 20" Orange Springs

Stock '96 w/110k miles
F: 20 3/4
R: 21 1/4

Tundra TRD on lowest perch up front, OME 906 w/10mm trim pack out back all on Tundra 5100's
F: 22 1/4
R: 23

My truck doesn't have flares.

OME 880 with a toytec 1/4 top spacer(settled)= 22.25" Front
OME 906 (used, already settled) = 22.75" rear

Adding new 5100's two 10mm OME spacers to rear in near future. Little more rake wanted.

2000 SR5 4wd 5speed:

Bilstein 1500 Tundra on all four corners. (Lowest perch in front).
16k on this set up.

Front OME 881: 22.5"
Rear OME 906 with one 10mm trim packer: 23.0"

OME 880 with a toytec 1/4 top spacer(settled)= 22.25" Front
OME 906 (used, already settled) = 22.75" rear

Adding new 5100's two 10mm OME spacers to rear in near future. Little more rake wanted.

Update:
Added two(2) 10mm OME rear spacers per side = 23.75" A good inch difference.

I've been wondering how much lift I have. I trimmed my fenders, and don't remember exactly how much I cut. Could someone take a measurement from the edge of the fender to the top of the fender line for me that way I can measure the difference myself. Thanks!

99 Ltd, have no idea what it was stock cause it had something on it when I got it. Now

Front ; 23"
Rear ; 25"

Front is Bilstein 5100's with 883's and 1/4" top pates
Rear is some kinda spring and Bilstein 5100's, I have been told they are LC springs but don't really care cause I like how they ride loaded.

99 SR5

1" body lift

FRONT SUSPENSION: Bilstein 6112s on 7/8 perches with #650 springs
FRONT HUB TO FENDER: 24"
REAR SUSPENSION: Tundra Bilstein 5100 with OME 2891 Springs
REAR HUB TO FENDER: 25.5"

25.75 front passenger
23.75 front driver
23.75 rear driver
23.75 rear passenger (before sag lmao)

5100's all around w/ toytech 112-620 coils

96 Limited on 265/75 R16

Front 23" - OREDY shock Struts Coil Spring Assembly (164366) added extra 1" to stock hight + 1/2" aluminum lift spacers with 1/8 driver side shim doing away with lean.
The OREDY assembly is pretty strong product @ low price.
Their very comfy everyday driver & off roader - Beach sand / basic trailing.

Rear 23.5" - ARB 2890 Old Man Emu Coil Springs + 1.5" Daystar spacers cut to fit.
I ended up pulling springs cutting down spacers twice in order to get 23.5" - 1/2" rake desired.
It was total pain!

So basically 2" Front lift / 2.5" rear
I've been using this setup for over 2 years no issues had cv axel friendly.

I did a Rough Country 3" lift on my 2WD.
I know my front is too high and I don't know the reason. Causing strange deflection on my LCA and LBJ.
Measured 25.5" both sides in the front.
RC is sending me a new front setup since they agree that this lifted it too high.
My thought is that even though they advertise it for both 2WD and 4WD, the spring rate was designed for the extra weight of the front diff and TC on a 4WD.
So the front doesnt have enough weight for it to sit how it needs to. Just my hypothesis.
Curious to know what other's have measured on the coilover (not spacer) lift on their RC kit!

Spacers or full replacement front shocks? Post a picture of the shocks in place. 25.5" front height is fully extended with the stock arms/ball joints - you have 0 droop travel right now.

2wd vs. 4wd will change the front height by maybe 3/4" - not 2-3"

Hopefully pictures post correctly. I hvae full replacement shocks, no spacers. I don't know what the issue could be. New LCA bushings (Whiteline) and Freedom offroad UCA's as well to try and prevent alignment issues. But it's deflecting my LCA so far down like i took a mid air jump and never came down.
Other photos are too large to post
