I've had a set in my ridge line for 45000 until I traded it in for 4r. awesome road tire, no pictures sorry.

Have had these AT2 tires for about 10,000 miles.
For me they fit the bill - 98% on road 2% off road.
They drive well on roads, and so far have been good off road.
Since some of the treads are close together it does retain small rocks and such when going off road. Here are some pictures.

Safe to assume no steering wheel shimmy (tire imbalance) at highway 60+ mph?
My dealer mechanic advised on these tires very positively.....but even in your pic they dont look very aggressive ?
Are they quiet ?

Pictures were taken when tires were new. When I first bought the Trail I sold the stock tires and bought the Cooper AT3's. I had balance issues with them so switched to the AT2's. At first I did have some shimmy at 65-70+. Had the tires rebalanced and that helped but there was still some shimmy. Then after about 6K miles on them I had them rebalanced and they have been perfect on road - no shimmy or noticeable road noise!
If you want an aggressive look these tires are not the ticket. I am more concerned with performance than looks. These are the first E rated LT tires I have owned and the firmness provided in turns has helped reduce sway and gives me more confidence. All tires are a compromise - buy these if you want a quality road tire with a semi aggressive off road tread.

I'm running these on my wife's Sequoia in the 265/70 17 E rated version. They replaced Goodyear Silent Armors which had a terrible ride. The Michelins AT2s have been great. Perfect balance, great traction on wet roads, very smooth ride for an E rated tire and they are wearing like iron (and the Sequoia typically eats tires with lots of around town stop and go driving). They have only seen dirt roads and packed snow/ice and did fine. If I lived in a snowy climate I'd pick something with more siping but for a road biased AT, these are great and I'll buy them again. I expect they are as good as a Terra Grappler traction wise off-road and off-set lugs on the outside edge of the tread pattern of the AT2 is probably more aggressive than a lot of other ATs.
