'12 Trail

Here is my '12 Trail......currently awaiting Shrockwork sliders from an FJ groupbuy. FJ has trail duties currently, but this will get those duties someday. I'm planning on replacing the wheels with some Black Rhino Wheels.

I like this first picture. The lighting makes it look like you have a tan interior, which I always thought would look good in a silver or mag grey TE.

Its just the lighting, I got the standard charcoal interior.

Got my Gobi installed! It was a long 7 weeks but I'm pretty satisfied.

The diamond mesh on top doesn't seem like it was welded flat though- kinda lumpy almost and the welds seem like they are tall- like 1/4" tall from the crossbar to the mesh.

Are most like that? I climbed up and there was a decent amount of flexing. I'm 175lbs.

How did you tint your lights?

I sprayed them with VHT Nite-Shades

Work in progress, 2weeks old, I should probably start a build thread. Thing is rubbing like crazy. Billy's set at .85. Goes back tue. Trying to decide if I go 1.75 and call it good or go 2.5 and a 1 inch cornfed spacer in back. Didn't really want it to get as tall as my last one. We cut into the mud flaps and cut the front fenders and it still rubs.
