Posting pictures - is there a how to sticky somewhere?

The subject says it all.

I am using google photo's since I have a google account but
when I post the url it just posts the url, not a pic or thumbnail.

Will google pictures not work or am I not doing something right?

In the post editor, there is a yellow box as "Insert Image" button. Copy/paste your image URL including extension and it should paste something like below minus the spaces.

[ IMG ]https://domain.com/image.jpg[ /IMG ]

Also remember if posting from google drive to make sure the folder you are using is set to public. I would make a separate folder for posting pictures and have everything else set to private because I don't want internet creepies looking at all my stuff.
