Posting Pictures With a Mac

Hello all, hope you're doing well.

I have recently switched from PC to Mac, to try something new, and I can't argue with a free computer, but I have no idea how to use this, let alone post pictures to here or onto other firearm forums I am a part of. It's a 2009 macbook pro, running the new OS X Yosemite, but I just have no idea on this one. Would anyone be able to help explain how to do this??!

Thank you :toilet:

Should be no different than posting a picture from Windows. Word of advice, ditch Safari and download either Chrome or Firefox.

Roger wilco, Fox or Chrome! This whole thing is completely different for me, I honestly have no idea on this one. No more "my pictures" or "my computer" :frusty:

Oh yeah, iPhoto is total garbage. If you're using that you'll have trouble finding your individual pictures on your hard drive. Not sure how the whole iCloud and iPhoto thing works any more because I haven't used either one in years now.

It is Probably not a bad idea to watch some Mac OS X tutorial videos.

You can likely find them on YouTube or Apple's website.

open iPhoto > select photo > file (drop down menu) > export > size small or medium > save to desktop.

when posting here:
Reply to thread > scroll down > Additional Options > Attach Files > Manage Attachments > Choose file > Desktop (from left column of Finder Window) > select (recently exported image) > Choose > Upload >>>> Message Box > little paper clip above message box > attach image > preview post > submit reply.

You can export multiple images simultaneously. command + select select select etc > export > blah blah blah

you are welcome.
will you post a pic, please?

I will do so tonight! I have kindve dropped off the map. Sold my 03 Tacoma, bought a diesel pickup for towing and work, been working on the 87 4Runner, and been busy with my military application. I have also been buried in the garage working on my 67 Chevy. The 383 stroker goes in this weekend!! I will attempt to post a picture tonight!

How about one of the diesel truck and one of the chevy? Remember to size it at small or medium when exporting to avoid the mega effect.
