Potential East Coast part out worth it? (96 limited desert dune)

Hey guys,

found a local 96 4runner 4x4 limited in desert dune that has frame rot and the lower link connection is broken. thinking of picking it up and parting it out. I'm looking for input for what return is expected. I have a buddy that is interested in splitting the costs of it. I'm second in line for the truck, someone is looking at it tonight (fingers crossed they don't want it.)

Body looks to be in decent shape, no shots of the interior

The info from the ad:
Vehicle was in fair working order before the frame rotted out. V6 engine has approximately 240K miles, but does not burn any oil. Transmission works but has some issues. New tires. Many good parts. Engine cannot be started because the gas tank was removed to make frame repairs (has not been fixed)...

Let me know if you get your hands on it. I want to look at interior clips. I am missing a few and are bugging me. I would be interested. Assuming the interior is beige?

Your guess is as good as mine... I would think it is but the only shot I can see of the interior well is the driver seat that looks to have a cover on it. I didn't ask when I talked to the guy.

IDC how ripped up or shotty they are. AAll I really want is the foam from both the sewats so I can make me some damn seat covers.

I don't want to rip mine up, then be USCWNP because I need to put them back in the truck.

There was a 4runner in FarmVille that need a title but everything was good to go on it it was a roll over by had a good frame I think the guy wanted 500 for it seen it a while back been lookin for a ride for my 16 yo

Put the deposit on it today, picking it up Sunday. Oak interior.

For the frame being rusted through I was surprised at the rest being in decent condition, Ohhh and it has a factory elocker..... So there's that.

Front seats are rough,so yours if you want them. I'll take good photos of them Sunday when I pick it up.

Hood is in okay condition. Looked like some minor rust on the front edge, but no major damage.

Rear bumper is shot.



I took some photos today. I'll start a part out thread after I eat dinner with the shots I have. I'll do a complete picture session of the truck when I pick it up.

At this moment I'm considering keeping the rear end, also the front cup holders, so tough if you want those. I will entertain offers on the rear end, but I have interest in keeping it for myself.
