Potential for new plate style bumper from Addicted Offroad

Just seeing if we should try to market this bumper to the masses or not. They would work on 95.5-04 Tacomas and 96-02 4runners.

So, Would you order one of these?

I'm in the process of replacing my stock bumpers as we speak. I REALLY like the design of that bumper, especially the recessed winch mount.

Cost/availability/weight would be my only concerns/questions.

Looks great though!!

We will try to work all of that out if we decide to go full production on these. There will have to be differences between the Tacoma and 4runner versions, but only slight differences.

Easiest guess on weight is probably only 70lbs.

Very clean looking bumper for sure!! What about adding recovery points and cutouts for blinkers? (I'm sure those are on your radar, just wondering what your thoughts were)

Edit: Looks like you already answered the recovery point question above.

Blinker holes would be an option so your factory ones would work.
 
Bumper looks sick.. give some options like blinker cutouts and that would be my first choice for front bumper for sure. I thought I already had my mind made up before I saw this one.

Edit: you beat me to it, you will eventually have my business if you do go forward with it
 
Is it too late to change my order from a tube to the new one? Haha

I guess I could add plate to the tube bumper but I'd have to cut the top hoop off and weld it back on.

The new bumper looks really nice Scotty!

I'm definitely going to keep my eyes on this post!

Would you be able to weld on some tabs on the inside and top of the hoop for lights? That may be a nice option as well. It would keep the lights inside of the hoop for protection but still give you clearance for a winch below.
 
Hell yes. I'm with Drew, I would even drop my truck off at your shop if you wanted to fanagle the design for a few weeks.

Depending on price point, of course. If you don't put it in production, I'm going to rip off your design :D
