Power plugs!

I cant believe my 03 only has one plug(cigarette lighter) in the front cab? What the heck?

Cell phone charger.
Sirius radio needs a plug.
ipod thing to play on the radio needs a plug.
My cb radio when in the car will need a plug.

I assume the garmin nuvi will need a plug to charge atleast.

Our tundra had enough to power us on road trip in the past.

I feel like I need a power strip in the 4runner.


How does everybody get by with one fuggin plug?

pretty easy, add more 12v plugs.

I bought a splitter the other day from a Flying J truck stop. $6. There were 3 ways as well. Get's kind of sloppy with all the extensions and whatnot.

I just bought a extra plug kit from radio shack for $6.00 and tapped into the wire going to the existing plug. Then I pluged in my sat radio power cord and hid everything under the center counsel. Works great!!

It is really easy to add extra outlets. I you could hide a few in the center console. I did that with an extra one. I have the location of the factory one beacuse my cords are always in the way. If you don't want to tear things apart you can get a 1 to 2 or 3 adapter.
