Power steering belt replacement

Hi guys , first post here

I bought my 4runner used about 3 months ago and on start up it squeals often and pretty badly for a while and this of course has been getting worse. If I turn the wheel hard right or left it usually stops but has been doing it more often. It also has a funny smell coming from the area. I am 95% sure this is the power steering belt and want to know if anyone has any experience changing this out or just tightening it. Im having trouble locating the belt, is it behind where the fluid is located covered by the round metal casing? It is a 97 v6 limited

Thank you

The belt is on the front of the pump. I cant even think of how to explain it, look at the power steering reservoir and then look down and the belt that is closest to the reservoir is the one you need to change. Theres 2 bolts to loosen and then the tensioner.

and the reservoir is above the wheel well on drivers side correct?

Nope. Front right (if you are seated at the wheel) top corner of engine. There are three accessory belts driven by the crank pulley. Steering on top right, A/c lower right, alternator top left. YotaZach has it right.
