Hey guys.

Rebuilding a 3vze power steering pump for a 92'

I got two springs and the manual only shows one.

i think it goes between the union port and the flow control valve.

Please look at my pic and confirm. I got the longer/skinner spring insertin inside the control valve.

Thanks,

Badbob

There may be an internal spring in the flow control valve (smaller one you describe) to control the balls in the valve, but I am not sure that it should come out. Have you pressure checked the control valve to ensure that is closes correctly?

Ya we tested it and its fine. No, this spring is about 5/8" in diameter and about 1.5" long

Thanks for you input.
