Power window delay

Not sure if this is normal behavior or not. But, in every car I have ever owned you can roll the power windows up after the car is turned off before the doors are opened.

In my 2020, window power is cut as soon as the car is turned off. I have kids, it's super annoying because I have to always put the key back in.

Does every 4runner behave this way. Is this something that can be changed in the ECU?

Most cars leave the radio on until the doors are open too.

My ‘18 does not have this issue. Attached is pic from manual.

Just thinking out loud, do you have the window lock on or pulling out the key prior?

Thats what's in the 20 manual too, but that's not how it behaves. I am thinking there has to be an ECU option to turn that function on or off and why it does not exist on my brand new vehicle.
