I just bought an 01 runner a few months and I'm looking to put a small lift on it 1"-2". I see people talking about performance products springs with bilsteins but when I go to the website all I see is other brands I'm a little confused about what to use for coils. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

That is correct, they no longer make the PP springs. The PP springs provides roughly 1 inch of lift over the tall 99 springs, and about 2 inches of lift on other models depending on the year.
I'd put up an WTB ad in the classifieds, and just keep an eye out in the classifieds section, they pop up every so often.

Yup, they don't make 'em anymore.
If you want a lift of around 2 inches, the closest setup to the PP would be OME 881/906.

I've been looking for a 3 inch lift myself, and a lot of the stuff is adjustable 0-3 inches.
I've looked at:
Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks $200
Eibach lift coils $150
Fab Tech coil over kit (uses stock top plate) $520
Fab Tech coil over shock $1,200
Toytec (SAW ?) coil over kit $600
Toytec coil over shock $800
All of those are height adjustable besides the Eibach coils. If you just want to do an inch, a simple spacer would work fine. A lot of companies make the spacers, and I honestly dont know which ones work best. Seems like a lot of guys run Daystar.
Also, here is a tech article on various 4Runner coils http://www.sonoransteel.com/includes/templates/SonoranSteel/TechArticles/4Runner_front_coils.pdf My coils have (Orange dot / light blue dot) which aren't shown on there, so they may have left some stuff out.

If you got a set of the tall coils off certain 99 model 4Runners you'd get an inch, maybe a tab bit more, from those. If you get them used you should be able to pick them up for under $150.
You can buy them new from the dealership for around $300.

Thanks guys for all the advice. I may end up just going with the 99 tall springs. But it seems like they're not much cheaper than the OME setup mentioned with the 881/906. Would OME give a better ride for a little more cash? I'm not planning on doing anything too crazy just some beach and snowboarding type of stuff.

The OME coils/shocks will provide a stiffer ride thean the OEM 99 highlander parts.

I'll be getting new TrekMaster's and a set of PP spring installed in a month or two, but if I had the $$ I'd love to go OME 881/906 w/ OME comfort shocks.
As everyone else has already said.. the ride will be a little stiffer over OEM. Same goes with PP springs.. it'll also be a little stiffer than OEM 99 coils.

Thanks again guys. fenrisx, I've been tryin to get those numbers for a while. Do you by chance have the shock numbers to match or can you recommend a good aftermarket shock? Is the OME Comfort shock the 90004? And lastly what's a good size tire for a lift this size with the 16" rims... I'm thinking a BFG all terrain. Sorry for all the questions... I'm just stoked about my new ride and I want to learn all I can. This site is awsome!!!

Tokico TrekMaster R/T's would be a good match for the OEM 99 coils, and should work fine with PP springs as well. I got mine off eBay for $235/shipped from seller jdmwerks13. Search for '310274580184' on eBay.
As for tire size 265/75r16 would be an ideal size if you want to move up from the stock 265/70r16.

The Tokico TrekMaster R/T's are a good shock/strut choice. They're considered stock replacement, but they're not quite the same as the stock Tokico shock/strut. Plus they have a lifetime warranty.
From what posts I've read on here and YotaTech a few people felt the PP/Bilstein setup was to harsh, but once they switch over to Tokico's with the PP springs they really loved the ride. Sonoran Steel uses the Tokico Trekmaster R/T's with his 'Best From the Factory' lift kit.. which consists of the 99 talls & Tokicos.
I'll hopefully be able to give a first hand account of this in a month or so. So far I'm only regurgitating things that I've read on the forums. No first hand account.i
