Decided to get an iPad mini through our wireless carrier and am planning on using it in the car for GPS and music etc.. What have you guys found to work?

Thanks

Even though I think that's really cool, I'm still planning on using my pioneer double din head unit. I want to mount this off of the side of the center console if possible.

Im going to fab up a mount the probably bolts to the floor to mount my ipad. Im thinking im going to run it down along the side of the center console and probably use one of the passenger seat bolts to bolt it down. Its going to be hard to find a place where it doesnt block anything. Its what we use for navigation on our trips.

If you fab something up that's clean I'd gladly pay to have one made as well. I'd run a usb from the back of the head unit to the iPad and it will have wireless connectivity so to have a solid place for it for trips would be great.

I posted mine before. String a mini-bungee from the vents and hang the iPad. Under $1 and easily removed.

Well I haven't actually bought the iPad yet but that should probably happen within the next couple days. I'm still looking for suggestions but will definitely post some stuff when I finally have a finished product.
