Hey Guys, I see that sizing seems to be an issue. Let's do this, whether you want the #2 or #4 and you are for SURE in let me know either way.

If there is enough interest (5+) for #2, on top of the 10+ for the #4. I will see about getting them added to the order. Here's the thing, if we are going to split the order up, I won't even consider it if we don't get 15 people.

For now, please work off $850 estimate for #2. I'm not going to get you an exact quote until the interest is there. Too much work. It's going to be between $825-875 probably. You guys make it happen.

Yes. The $100 is so that we all know we have your commitment. It's not fair to other members that are 100% committed for someone to back out because that makes it more expensive for everyone else (or this whole thing falls through last second).

I have hopefully structured it conservatively so that it will be less than $900 ($1000 total). We won't know absolute final dollars until I'm ready to place the order. Not to mention these prices are based upon 10 tents, costs will go down the more we get, not necessarily at the 15, 20 checkpoint (those are just estimates).

I checked out the Smittybilt 2783 didn't really care for its design. The ladder is inaccessible from inside the annex.

No it is NOT the same as the -2 offered here, but it this group buy is only for the large one, I am showing an alternative to others who needed the small sized one so that they are not left out.

Hey folks, Happy Labor Day, I am back from vacation.

I have some additional details for ya. I got to see a CVT right beside the Chinese RTT and they're almost identical in features but for sure build quality.

I measured the CVT Mt. Ranier offical version in person. Its pad is 89"x71". I don't know why Wincar is saying it is 96", maybe they misunderstood my floorspace question and are counting some of the overhang? I don't know.

Folded size of the tent (the box on top of your roof)
CVT Mt. Ranier official = 72"x49"x14"
Wincar #2 = 58"x49"x12"

This #2 I saw in person checks out with Wincar's website. So I trust their measurements. I will confirm folded dimensions for #4.

So I know we started off the GB saying we'd only go with one size but let's collect #2 and #4 commitments because this GB hasn't peaked up enough steam yet. I am willing to split the order into two tents if we can get 10 of one size and 5 of another size. At this point #4 size could be the small order.

I sell Mombasa and ARB tents (both made in China BTW). This is a way better price than the ARB, but the same price as Mombasa. Why not just order a Mombasa tent, they will sell to you one at a time?
