Yup. With almost no Toyotas available new to buy the high value of before is a totally different level now for our 4Runners.

I can sell my 2019 with 50,000 mi for $45k in CT.

There is a 2018 4r trd pro 4sale in CT near me. it has just under 46k on it for miles. They are asking $48,999. not sure how this compares but thought that was high also

Wow -- don't know if you still have your window sticker, but KDSS was a $1,750 option on the 2020 models.

Edit: nevermind, just noticed the "with options" part of your KDSS line item.

The info is still pertinent to today. Chips are still slow to process. Not for any other reason than China has pressured Taiwan (the worlds largest chip manufacturer at more than 51% of global trade) to focus on mobile phones, laptops and other products that were in demand during and for a period after the global lockdown. Combine that with Chinas continuing lack of infrastructure, horrible weather issues that damaged, destroyed or closed many of Chinas coal mines and power generating stations (the world leader in coal usage) and that China has said F you to the world, because we put them in the position to do it. The US produces roughly 200k wafers per year. Taiwan in the hundreds of millions. You'd also know our president has tanked our economy in the name of "equality" and several poles show that the majority of Americans believe he is mentally unfit to serve as anything more than a floor mop.

With all that said, no chips, no new cars and car dealerships are purposely driving trade-in values up to turn profits that are normally seen only in the new car market. #Capitalism. Gotta love it.
