SERIOUSLY!

I have 4 TRD badges on my truck now. One on each wheel.

I have gotten laid exactly 0 times since the installation...
just sayin...

The women you attract with TRD badges on the wheels are NOT the kind you would want anyway. Remember - look here /\ NOT here \/
 
No sunroof was the dealbreaker for me. I really liked the Inferno paint but not nearly enough to make up for lack of a sunroof. Especially nice to have it now that we are getting into the really good weather.
 
Everyone has different taste.

My story has been listed many times on here. 3rd Row, Sunroof, signal indicators on mirror, are driving forces on why I couldn't get the Pro.. Most of all the wife factor, though! I LOVE the Pro and pay homage to it in my way. Honestly, the TRD Pro logo is sexy, and I couldn't live without it.

Am I fooling anyone? NO- If you know 5th Gen 4Runners, it is almost too easy to see I do not have a Pro. I am very happy with the build, and love driving it everyday, as should everyone who drives a 4Runner. We are all here for the love of the vehicle, to gain and pass on knowledge and create a better community. Love what you do, Love what you build!

I personally like my Trail with some Pro cosmetics.. my truck.....

*Don't have the PRO decals- have custom trail ones
*Have the black Toyota grill thing - I like the look
*Have the the rims (which I would have changed out to some kind of black anyway)
*Plasti-dipped the bumper things (cause I didn't like the silver on silver look)

K9.. You train SSD dogs or obedience kine??

Obedience, but I haven't been training much here except for my own Black GSD.
 
I've heard that everyone who even test drives a Pro is going to die. And their children are born naked too!

Exactly right.Seems like a couple leftists have infiltrated the fourm. Honestly though I think the retro stylings of the grill look great. I wish they made the trail premium's with it. So hear is what I did. Went o to the name your Toyota web site and ordered one for my trail....just in case I decided to change my grill. I wouldn't have gotten a pro because I love my sunroof.

Just need stop the little bit of rattle that the deflector makes when the roof is closed and the shade is open...
 
I think people dedicate to much time and emotions hating a vehicle. We all have our different tastes and interests. Don't crap on my stuff and I won't crap on yours. Too each their own.

Any way, it would be interesting to see the Frankenstein child of a trail KDSS with a pro.. But everyone's already mentioned you can get better suspension after market. Plus doesn't the KDSS not lend it self well to be matched with a lift? Something about piston travel and damaging the system?

It's pretty entertaining how fired up people get about the choices others make regarding choosing different models of pretty much the same vehicle. Isn't that the reason why Toyota decided to not just offer one model of 4Runner? To be able to provide a product that appeals to different peoples' preferences? Maybe we should just turn our hatred towards Toyota for offering a variety of vehicles... But that would probably not be as much fun. Who wants a damn sunroof anyway?!?!?!
 
Couldn't believe how many pros I saw while walking around downtown Denver today. Even worse was that about half of the few dozen 4runners I saw (all generations) had the six-spoke TRD wheels. Three of them parallel parked in a row with the same wheels. To each their own but I just don't get that. You decide to spend some money on wheels so you buy stock wheels from another 4runner? They aren't even wider. Jeeps are crap but at least they are all a little different.
