Problems with HID's

I think my HID's have a short of some short. Im saying this because the just go out while im driving and i have no clue why? I do not have high and low beams just low beam. could that be the problem? Thanks for the replys guys.

You might have a bad ballast....... check your electrical connections too.

ok thanks ill check it out. any way you can tell if the ballast is bad? and i forgot to mention that both go out not just one and both at the sametime. but ill check everything out thanks.

BE VERY CAREFUL testing the ballasts - they store an insane amount of voltage to ignite the HID bulbs. If both are going out at the same time, I would suspect a ground issue or something BEFORE power gets to the ballasts. Have you checked all grounds and fuses?
