ProComp Center Caps won't fit

I am at the tires shop and we are having an issue I have not seen.

I bought a new set of 17x8 procomp wheels and put some AT/3 on them.

They mounted the tires, balanced them and then notified me that the center caps are too small to fit over the hub. I went and verified myself and sure enough they don't fit correctly over the center hub. They are too small.

Am I missing something? Do they go on differently? Anyone else have this issue? Maybe sent me the wrong type?

Pics would be most useful here.
I have seen some C-Caps fit very tight (need to scrub some rust/gunk off the hubs first).
Chevy Specific wheels have a smaller center bore hole, but same lug pattern. Check that the wheel fits the hub before they get too far on the tire install in case the wheels are wrong? I don't think Pro Comp makes Chevy specific, however..
Could just be wrong caps included too?

This seems to be the issue. I am taking some pictures and sending them back out to Discount Tires and see what they say.

Yes, the pro comp caps fit very tight. In all honesty, the pro comp caps are junk and they will not warranty them when the finish gets messed up from being stuck on the hub. The cheap center caps from Summit racing fit a little better and at least they are cheap.

Whatever cap you go with, I recommend cleaning any and all rust/dirt off then apply a thin layer of grease around the inside of the center cap where it contacts the hub.

I know this is an older thread but maybe this will save others the hassle. I have the Pro comp 7105-7883 wheels on my 2008 4runner with the same problem. The center caps are about 1mm to small. The only way I have gotten them on is to first clean any rust off the center hub and use a liberal amount of brake grease on both the inside of the cap and on the hub. Then install the caps into the wheels and proceed to mount the wheels using a star pattern to tighten the bolts. This will force the center caps onto the hubs. Just work slowly around the wheel to get an even seat. Removal, well that’s another can of worms. Because they are now pressed onto the hub they will not come off with the wheel. You will need to carefully remove the wheel without damaging the center caps and then use a rubber mallet to tap them free. On my last attempt I used blue painters tape to avoid scratching the paint when the wheel was pulled over them. Which worked very well except when I removed the painters tape it pulled the paint off anyway.

Now, my recommendation is to throw the center caps into the garbage where they belong as they are nothing but junk. I have replaced 2 complete sets not counting the originals so a total of 3 sets. I was getting mine form Summit here:

There are 2 issues. The base metal is some sort of highly polished metal which is then coated with black paint. Which means the paint will NEVER stick to the polished surface so it just falls off in the wind. Second, because they don’t fit you will either damage them taking them off as the paint just flaks off or they will simply split. I have had 2 just split down the side.

Finally I went this route, however I welded a small bolt into the rear hub and used a screw to secure the cap so it still removable:
